And the thing doesn't tell me what the current settings are before it offers to change it to something else and it doesn't tell me what it wants to change it to either, or so it seems. Hey I'm only clicking ONE option, and that's the top one "Internet connection speed".

When I click on the Optimize button for an individual option in the advanced mode, I get a popup that tells me "Only manual adjustments of the first two options allowed in Trial mode". Maybe try searching?" As for the settings (I haven't activated it yet) the Metered Connections setting in the Advanced Mode has checkboxes for 3G and 4G but there's no entry for 5G. It looks like the link pointing here was faulty. Clicking on the download link in the confirmation email got me to a Webminds web page that said: "This page doesn't seem to exist. Further, the "free" Free Shields Up ebook link in the confirmation email was so free it decided not to come to me. not Applian (which again I know is kind of common practice but it still grates when the seller is not the biller - I have no reason to trust a third party and wasn't asked if I wanted to trust them before my details were sent there, but it's probably buried in the fine print somewhere, sigh!). But then I was billed by a mob called "Webminds". In the end I was able to get the thing for the advertised USD $9.95 which worked out at AUD $16.69 today, by deselecting everythink. If they're going to advertise something for ten bucks, the price at the checkout shouldn't be more than that unless I add it on myself, not them (I'm aware this is common practice but it really really grates with me). If they're going to advertise here they should tell me the price is not in Aussie dollars and NOT wait til it gets to the fine print in the checkout. I got an email that said "Save 75% and buy NetOptimizer for just $9.95" so I went into that, but by the time the addons were added and I picked a slightly higher option they wanted to bill me over AUD $100, and that's after I'd declined a further $27 or so USD (would've been around another AUD $50) for extra special offers that were tacked on without me asking.
